ROTEL RSX1560

This is Rotel’s flagship integrated surround sound receiver.  With copious power (100 watts at 8 ohms, all channels driven) and stylish looks, this amp makes a big high-end statement.  Rotel use a cleverly modified class-D amplifier module in this model which means that there is less heat generation and less electricity consumption compared to traditional class-AB amplification.  However, this is not the only reason to consider this amp.  It does a fantastic job in translating movie soundtracks, and a stellar job reproducing stereo recordings in all their lifelike glory.  It’s also quite beautiful to look at.
