The M177 is a high quality studio condenser microphone made in Ohio by CAD. Boasting an incredibly flat frequency response from 10Hz to 20,000Hz and a tolerance of up to 143 dB SPL, this microphone is ideal for studio applications above and beyond the capabilities of most condenser microphones. It has a very low noise floor and therefore is an excellent choice for very quiet miking too. Unlike the M179 which has a variable pattern dial, the M177 is a fixed cardioid pattern. |
